2014 South African Book Fair Visitors’ Guide and Programme

 
The South African Book Fair is set to take place this weekend from 13 to 15 June at the Cape Town International Convention Center. Those attending can expect to find hundreds of local and global exhibitors and an exciting line-up of authors ready to discuss an array of pressing topics relating to the contemporary book scene.

The official programme offers a veritable feast of voices with a line-up including: Professor Njabulo Ndebele, Judge Edwin Cameron, Dr Xolela Mangcu, author Deon Meyer, analyst Prince Mashele, businessman Victor Kgomoeswana, bestselling author Susan Lewis, storyteller Sindiwe Magona, award-winning Setswana author Sabata-Mpho Mokae, historian Hazel Crampton, sports-analyst Marco Botha and legendary chef Karen Dudley.

The fair runs from 9 AM to 6 PM. Tickets cost R20 – R50 and can be purchased online from PnPay Tickets or at the door on the day. Children under the age of 18 get in free.
