The Thinking from the South seminar was initially planned by the university presses of South Africa for this year’s London Book Fair. Now, at CTBF, the presses came together to discuss scholarly publishing in South Africa, the intersect between knowledge produced in the South and knowledge produced in the North and how to make the appeal of scholarly publishing extend beyond the borders of South Africa.
